Aye aye, petite people just like me! Just for your information, my height is kind of at 5’0 on good days, but some measurements (which I hate) declare me to be 4’11. Yes, I am not that tall. In fact, as an 18-year-old, I may just be short.

But besides the fact that I still believe that I’m growing (they say it stops at 21), I have accepted it. Whether it’s the genes or the stressful environment, I never thought I’d say this but I’d gotten used to being petite – so used to it that I already could ignore the teasing, the underestimation, and the other disadvantages (such as using chairs to get something from the top shelves). I got used to making this lack of height to my advantage. From hiding to the people I don’t want to see to looking younger than your real age, I’ve mastered it. Being petite isn’t much of a problem than it is actually a gift that one is given, one which has to be used at its full advantage.

Anyway, here is an #ootd for the petite ones like me: statement or plain shirt tucked in shorty short denims. That way, you can elongate your legs and create the illusion that you have longer legs! This andΒ still looking fab. You may also add some statement accessories (just like this sweet yellow flower necklace) and footwear, just like I did here! Floral sandals + the flower necklace = so much love for floral!
