I’m not really that much of a fan of bright and bold clothes with too many colors and patterns. I feel like by wearing those, I’m going to catch so much attention and to be honest, I’m not really that type of a person. I like staying in the borderlines of the spotlight but not in the spotlight itself. Some people may call it humility or being down to earth, but I call it simplicity. I would rather be the ‘simple’ me and stand out with the others than be the ‘spotlight’ me and stand out only by myself.
That’s just quite an intro to this style post though. As (kind of) a newbie in being a blogger, you might have noticed that I haven’t posted anything that fancy. I always post outfits that are merely mix-and-matched from my closet and whatever they are that I feel like I wanted to wear on that specific day. I don’t plan on changing, though; I don’t plan on buying those clothes that cost me too much and I especially don’t plan on buying them impulsively. I intend on being fabulous not on the standards of others and being stylish the way I want to be.
This is an advice to all you who loves styling and fashion as much as I do. It may be cliche to say this but I hope that you are what you are right now not because society forced you to be but because that’s how you want to be. I hope you are not living up to the expectations of the others because at the end of the day, you’re all by yourself and it’s what you think about yourself that matters. I hope you wear both edgy and bold outfits because you wanted to and not because, you think it would look cool for everyone. I hope you stay true to yourself. I hope you believe in yourself.
It may not be easy sometimes – believe me, I’ve been there. But once you’ve learned to live your life not caring too much of how people would think of you, it would feel victorious. You would feel so free and so happy without anyone holding you back.
What do you think of this outfit? Do you think you’re living your life the way you want to or has society been shaping who you are? Comment below, loves! I’d love to hear from you!
